Mary Padian is an American businesswoman and a reality TV personality known as the founder of Mary's Finds' an online store and for starring in reality television show Storage Wars: Texas. She is often referred to as The Junkyard Queen' or the Junkyard Queen' or The Junkster' Mary is known for her collection of antiques sourced from estate sales, auctions and storage facilities. Mary's career began after she earned her degree as a photographer for Architectural Digest, under the founder Paige Rense. Then in her latter years Mary created her own webpage called Mary Finds. This section involved videos on home refurbishing and decoration; she later returned to Texas and opened her firm with the same name, and focus on furnishing antiques and restoration. A&E Television producer spotted her operating an antiques store and gave her the opportunity to be a part of Texas Storage Wars. The show ran for three seasons and proved to be a huge hit. Because of her fame, she was cast as the first character of Storage Wars in its fifth season. Storage Wars season 5 was her first time appearing on the show.
